The dangers of Ticks is rapidly becoming a top concern for anyone who spends time outdoors. Ticks cant fly or jump they crawl to the top of long grass or twigs and wait for a passing animal for humans the common point of first contact is the lower leg. We took a quality Thermolite hunting sock and used revolutionary Nano technology to bind the renowned IR3535 repellent into the very fabric. These long boot socks will provide comfort and warmth as well as protection from ticks for many years the treatment will last 100 washes.

Value for money

Very useful, I am happy with my purchase.

Tight fit

I am UK size 12, and these things are hard to get on, impossible to pull up anywhere past my ankle as the general anatomy of a human calf muscle dictates so.. Probably stop tick bites, where there is no blood flow there probably aren't many ticks either. Good quality materials and perhaps they will loosen as time goes on.

Terrible Fit

These would go really well on a Heron or some other creature that doesn't have calf muscles. I have trouble getting them over my ankles, not worth buying.

Bad socks

You can barely get them on and when you do they're that tight they cut of circulation in you legs

Great Tick resistant socks.

As a keen rambler and hill Walker, I’ve been looking for a good pair of hard wearing long socks that stay up and are repellent to biting bugs ,especially deer ticks, that can carry Lyme disease. These socks definitely’tick’ all the above boxes and I’ll be ordering another pair forthwith!!
