Birchwood Casey Perma Black on new parts

Not used this product before so was skeptical of claims but it did a fantastic job. Used on new machined mild steel and silversteel screws. Results are instant as soon as you apply the Blackening fluid. Kit was comprehensive, all you need are a pair of neoprene gloves. So full marks.

This kit is actually the bees knees tbh. I got forged steels already blued and some perishing as not blued, tied in with outdoor/wet conditions this is a no brainer I needed this and the set as a whole is invaluable if you wanna do a good job I’m sure it’ll be a lovely blue when I get round to it.
