A mixed shelf: shooting and gundog books, hunting DVDs, Barnett catapults with their spare bands and steel ammunition, and the small pewter-and-leather sort of present that does not need to fit anybody.
On catapults. A catapult is not a firearm or an air weapon in law and needs no certificate, but it is perfectly capable of killing and we sell them to over-18s only. It wants a safe backstop exactly as a rifle does, and steel ammunition ricochets hard off anything solid. The Barnett range here runs from pocket models up to the sighted Havoc and Cobra; the Phantum is a suction-dart toy, not a weapon.
On books. Most gundog training literature quietly assumes a retriever, so check which discipline a title is written for before buying it for a spaniel or an HPR man — spaniel work is not retriever work and the methods do not transfer cleanly.
