The Bug-A-Salt 3.0 Realtree Camo is a novelty salt-firing gun designed to deal with flies, mosquitoes and other soft-bodied pests at close range — not a firearm and not an air gun, it fires nothing more than an ordinary pinch of table salt. This limited-edition 3.0 model wears an official Realtree Edge camo water-transfer finish, with every unit's pattern and colour varying slightly so no two are quite alike. Building on earlier Bug-A-Salt models, the 3.0 adds a cross-bolt safety, a redesigned and noticeably lighter trigger, a raised barrel with a Patridge sight for more accurate aim, a tougher salt hopper for quick reloads, and a stronger spring that tightens the salt pattern for a more effective hit. It runs on ordinary table salt only — no batteries, no toxic sprays, and nothing more sinister than seasoning in the hopper.
