A rucksack with a seat built into it solves one specific problem: you are walking in with kit, you will be sat still for hours, and there is nowhere dry to sit when you get there. Decoying, pigeon hides, flight ponds and long waits on a high seat approach.
What is here
- SwedTeam Classic MollTec Rucksack with Seat 36L — the larger of the two, with MOLLE-compatible attachment so you can hang additional pouches off it.
- Enduro Chair Backpack in pine green — the lighter, simpler option.
Or would a seat stick do?
Be honest about how you shoot. If you are moving between spots every twenty minutes, a seat stick is quicker, lighter and lets you get up and mount a gun without unpacking. A pack seat comes into its own when you are settled in one place for half a day and want the load carried and the seat with it. Buying the wrong one of the two is the usual mistake.
