Arm guards
The first thing a new archer needs and the last thing they buy. A string that catches a forearm once will put someone off the sport for a fortnight. The Deluxe Long Leather guard covers more of the arm and is the sensible choice for anyone still learning their form; the Plastic Bracer is lighter and enough once the elbow rotation is right.
Rests and strings
Stick-on arrow rests are handed — right-hand and left-hand versions are listed separately, and they are not interchangeable. Check which you need before ordering. The 70in replacement bowstring fits the Petron S1.
Targets
The 90cm square straw boss is the standard club-size target. Whatever you shoot into, the thing that matters is what is behind it: a straw boss will stop an arrow until the day it does not, so site it against a solid backstop with nothing beyond that you are not prepared to hit. Bosses degrade with use and weather, and a soft centre is how arrows pass through.
Also here: the Barnett Veloci-Speed 150lb replacement prod. Fitting a prod is a job for someone who knows what they are doing — a crossbow at that draw weight will take fingers off.
