The Rannoch
The bulk of this page is the Rannoch lightweight waterproof jacket and trouser, in men's and ladies' fits. Lightweight waterproofs earn their keep as the layer you carry rather than the layer you wear — packable enough to live in the bottom of a roe sack, and pulled on when the weather turns on the hill. If you want one set of waterproofs for standing out in sustained rain all day, a heavier garment is the better buy.

On sizing
Waterproof trousers go over what you are already wearing. Size for the layers underneath, not for your waist measurement, or you will find you cannot get them on over a boot in a hurry — which is exactly when you need them.
