Pulsar Thermal Offers
Reduced Pulsar thermal units — and the savings on this page are substantial rather than nominal.
Three different jobs
- Telos — handheld thermal monoculars, in XQ35 and the larger-objective XG50, with LRF versions carrying a built-in laser rangefinder. A spotter: for finding and identifying before you commit. The Telos is also the one Pulsar built to be upgraded rather than replaced.
- Merger LRF XL50 — thermal binoculars. Two eyes rather than one matters more than people expect on a long night: binocular viewing is far less tiring and gives you a real sense of depth, which a monocular cannot.
- Thermion 2 LRF XP50 PRO — a thermal riflescope with rangefinder, mounted on the rifle and used to shoot.
Spotter and sight are not interchangeable
If you are buying one unit, buy the spotter. Identifying a beast or a fox through a rifle-mounted sight means pointing a loaded rifle at anything you want to look at, and that is a habit worth not forming. A handheld thermal to find and identify, then the rifle to shoot, is the right order.
No certificate is required for a thermal optic in the UK; the rifle it goes on is another matter.
