The Benchmade 756 Sibert mPR (Micro Pocket Rocket) is a scaled-down take on Shane Sibert's original MPR, built as a compact monolock flipper for everyday carry. The blade is a stout 1.87in drop point in CPM-20CV stainless steel, hardened to 59-61 HRC for strong edge retention, ground from 0.124in stock so it stays rigid despite the short length. It opens on a flipper tab into a titanium frame lock, giving a solid, single-piece lockup with no separate liner to wear loose over time. The titanium handle scales carry a tip-up pocket clip for right-hand carry, and at 4.83in overall and 3.52oz the knife disappears into a pocket without adding bulk. Despite the micro format, the thick blade stock and premium steel mean it copes with genuinely demanding tasks - cutting cord, opening feed bags, general everyday field jobs - rather than sitting as a keychain ornament.
