The recessed hook blade is 440C stainless steel, hardened to 58-60 HRC, with a rounded tip that keeps the edge away from skin while it slices cleanly through strap and fabric. The stainless steel handle carries a black vinyl coating for a secure grip and a larger handle opening that still works well with gloved hands. At 4.3in overall and 1.5oz it is light enough to carry on a keyring, belt or vehicle kit without any bulk, and it is MOLLE compatible for mounting on vests, packs and rescue bags.
