Crispi make hunting and stalking boots in Italy, and most of the range is Gore-Tex lined leather. The models split by the ground they are built for.
Hill and stalking
The Nevada Legend EFX GTX and Hunter GTX are the classic high-cut boots for hill ground, heather and scree, where ankle support counts for more than weight. The Futura family (CX, NXT and PWR GTX) is Crispi's modern take on the same job, and the Valdres Pro GTX, with a women's Valdres Lady, sits alongside them.
Lighter and mid-height
The Attiva Mid GTX, Attiva BP GTX and Summit GTX are lighter boots for woodland stalking, walked-up days and long distances on easier ground. The Highland range (Mid, HP and Pro Boa) covers the middle ground.
Cold and waiting
The Lapponia Evo GTX, Finland Zip GTX, Wild Evo GTX and Track GTX are insulated, for high seats, winter hinds and anywhere you stand still for hours.
Fit and care
Try boots on with the sock you will hunt in, late in the day. A stiff hill boot needs breaking in before a long day, not on it. Crispi gaiters, Egotech and Airmesh replacement footbeds, merino boot socks, conditioning cream and spray and TiZip zip lubricant are all here too, and leather lasts far longer if it is fed and dried slowly rather than on a radiator.
