Game Technical Apparel cover the traditional end of the shooting-field wardrobe alongside a handful of technical pieces — tweed breeks and waxed cotton on one side, waterproof stalking smocks and bonded fleeces on the other. Ladies' and children's lines run through the range.
Which piece for which day
- Tweed breeks — driven days and walked-up. Breeks keep the hem out of the wet and let a long sock do its job; they also take a soaking better than most trousers because wool works wet.
- Waterproof stalking smock — a quiet over-layer for sitting and moving slowly. A smock pulls on over the top without a full-length zip to snag or rattle.
- Classic wax gilet and wax jackets — the keepering and beating answer. Wax is tough against thorn, repairs with a tin of dressing and is entirely windproof. It is also heavy and needs re-proofing, which is the honest trade.
- EN206 Stealth fleece — a bonded fleece for midlayer warmth where a plain fleece would let the wind through.
- Ladies' Elise jacket and trouser — cut for women rather than sized down from the men's pattern.
- Children's quilted wax jacket — for a youngster following the guns.
