The HIKMICRO Alpex 4K A50E is a day and night digital rifle scope built around an all-new 3840 x 2160 UHD sensor, giving a genuinely 4K image with minimal pixelation right across its 3.5x to 28x magnification range. A 50mm lens with an F1.2 to F2.5 adjustable aperture keeps the picture crisp from bright daylight down to the last of the dusk, and a single button switches from full-colour day viewing to 4K Ultra HD night vision when the light drops. The image is shown on a 1920 x 1080 sub-round OLED display, and the whole unit sits in a traditional 30mm scope tube for straightforward ring-mounting rather than a proprietary mount. Recoil-activated recording saves audio and video to 64GB of built-in storage, so a clean hit — or a miss worth reviewing — is captured automatically. Power comes from an internal rechargeable battery backed by a removable spare 18650 cell in the turret, good for up to 11 hours in the field. This is the standard Alpex 4K, without the built-in laser rangefinder of the LRF version — a straightforward, capable day and night scope for foxing and stalking that doesn't need ballistic calculation built in.
