The HIKMICRO Raptor RH50L pairs a high-performance thermal channel with a day/night optical camera and a laser rangefinder in one handheld binocular, built for spotting and ranging game in low light or full dark. At its core is HIKMICRO's SUB-20mK NETD 384x288px thermal sensor behind an F0.9 aperture 50mm lens, a combination that pulls in fine detail and copes well in poor weather, with a detection range out to 2600m on a man-sized target. Alongside the thermal channel sits a colour optical camera for daylight use, switching automatically to an infrared-assisted night mode that reaches out to 400m after dark. The built-in laser rangefinder measures out to 1000m, accurate to within a metre, and a compass and GPS give a location fix without reaching for another device. Built-in image stabilisation steadies the picture at higher magnification, the eyepieces adjust from 60mm to 70mm interpupillary distance for a comfortable fit, and the display switches off automatically when you take the binoculars from your face. Power comes from three swappable 18650 batteries, good for around 8 hours in the field.
