Kahles Optics

Kahles build in Austria and split their range cleanly in two: the K-series for precision and competition shooting, and Helia for hunting and general field use. Both are here, along with the lens covers and throw levers that go with them.

      The two families

      • K525i 5-25x56 — a competition and long-range scope. Stocked in MOAK reticle with a left-hand, counter-clockwise windage turret, which is a deliberate design choice rather than an oddity: it puts the wind turret on the side your support hand can reach without breaking position. If you have not used a left-wind turret, be aware it is the opposite direction to a conventional one.
      • K318i — the shorter, wider-magnification-range K-series scope, for practical and dynamic shooting where you are moving between distances.
      • Helia riflescopes — the hunting line, including 3.5-18x50i. Illuminated reticles, built for low light rather than for dialling.
      • Helia RF-M 7x25 — a rangefinder monocular rather than a scope-mounted unit.
      • Helia S42 8x42 — a hunting binocular.

      Before you order accessories

Flip-up covers are sold by objective or ocular diameter — 46mm, 50mm and 56mm are all listed and they do not interchange. Measure the scope, or check the model listing, rather than ordering by scope name alone. A throw lever fits the magnification ring of the Helia and makes a full zoom sweep possible without shifting your hand.

Kahles lines move in small numbers and individual models come and go. Check the specific model before travelling to the shop for one.
