Lee Precision Reloading

    Filter

Lee Precision is where most UK handloaders start, and a good many never leave. The tooling is inexpensive without being crude, the die sets cover almost every calibre a stalker or target shooter will meet, and the spares are cheap enough that breaking a decapping pin is an annoyance rather than an event.

      What is stocked

      • Presses and bushings — Breech Lock quick-change bushings, which let you leave dies set up and swap calibre in seconds rather than re-adjusting every time.
      • Shell holders — including the Universal Shell Holder.
      • Priming — the Auto Prime XR hand priming tool, which gives you far better feel for seating depth than a press-mounted primer arm.
      • Powder — the Perfect Powder Measure thrower.
      • Case prep — case trimmer cutter and lock stud, case lube, decapping pin replacements.
      • The Lee Reloading Manual, 2nd edition.

      Working up a load

Always start from current published data for the exact powder, bullet and case you are using, and work up in small increments watching for pressure signs. Data from an old manual, a forum post or a different lot of powder is not a substitute. If you are new to it, buy the manual before you buy the dies.
