Swedish-made knives that have been the sensible answer to "what knife should I buy?" for about a century. Mora's reputation rests on getting the steel and the grind right and not charging much for it.

      • Clipper — the general-purpose model most people start with, in a rubberised handle that stays grippy wet.
      • Pro C and Pro S — carbon and stainless versions of the working knife. Carbon takes a keener edge and touches up easily but will stain and needs drying; stainless is the low-maintenance choice for a wet larder.
      • Bleeding knife — short, stiff and purpose-shaped, with a sheath.
      • Gut hook — for opening a carcass without nicking the stomach.
