The Pixfra Mile M20-B15 is an entry-level thermal imaging monocular built for stalking and pest control after dark. At its core sits an uncooled sensor with 256x192 resolution and 12µm pixel pitch, paired with a 15mm f1.0 lens giving 1.42x magnification, an 11.7 x 8.8 degree field of view and a detection range of up to 710m for human- and animal-sized heat sources. Images are shown on a 720x540 viewfinder with adjustable dioptre control to suit different eyesight. A built-in stadiametric rangefinder helps judge distance to a marked target, and four colour palettes - White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red and Alarm - suit different observation conditions and light levels. The device records stills and video to microSD (up to 256GB) and connects to the Pixfra app over built-in Wi-Fi for viewing on a smartphone, with a laser pointer for marking objects to companions in the field. Weighing under 350g and rated IP67 for dust and water resistance, it is built to keep working from -20°C to +50°C, backed by a built-in battery good for up to 9 hours' use before a recharge is needed.
