The Pixfra Mile M20-B7 is a compact thermal imaging monocular built for stalking, foxing and general night-time observation, detecting the heat signature of animals and people well beyond visual range in complete darkness. At its core is a 256×192, 12µm uncooled sensor paired with a 7mm f1.0 lens, giving a wide 24.0° x 18.0° field of view, 0.66x magnification and a quoted detection range of up to 345m — a spec suited to scanning close ground and woodland edges rather than long-range identification. The 720×540 viewfinder carries adjustable dioptre control for a sharp image whatever the user's eyesight, and a built-in stadiametric rangefinder helps judge distance to a marked target. Five colour palettes — white hot, black hot, rainbow, iron red and alarm — cover changing conditions, alongside hot and cold-spot tracking, and a built-in laser pointer (auto-disabling after 10 seconds for eye safety) helps mark a target for others in the field. The device records stills and video to a MicroSD card of up to 256GB, and built-in Wi-Fi links to the Pixfra app so images can be viewed on a connected phone.
