Prvi Partizan — PPU — is the Serbian ammunition maker most UK stalkers meet as the affordable soft point: the round for zeroing, range work and a cull that would cost three times as much in premium hunting ammunition.
The range
- Centrefire rifle soft point, in 20-round boxes — .222 Rem 50gr, .223 Rem 55gr, .22-250 Rem in 50gr and 55gr, .243 Win in 90gr and 100gr, .25-06 Rem 100gr PSP, .270 Win 130gr, .308 Win 150gr and .30-06 Springfield 180gr.
- Handgun — 9mm Luger 124gr FMJ in 50s.
- Brass — .357 Magnum unprimed cases, 100 to a pack, for reloaders.
Certificate required
Ammunition can only be supplied against a valid firearm certificate showing the relevant calibre with acquisition available on it. This is a face-to-face transaction — ammunition cannot be despatched to a private address, and your certificate will be checked and endorsed at handover.
Using it
PPU is consistent within a lot, but lots vary. If you find a load your rifle groups well with, buy the batch rather than the box. Re-zero whenever you change ammunition, and never assume a fresh box shoots to the same point of impact as the last one — particularly at the ranges where it matters for a clean kill.
Reloading components: Brass · Bullets · Primers. Carrying it in the field: Ammo Carriers.
