RCBS

RCBS have been making reloading equipment since the 1940s and the tooling is the standard a lot of UK benches are built around. This is the RCBS bench range: dies, shell holders, priming, case prep and powder handling.

Shell holders are the thing people get wrong. They are numbered by case head size, not by cartridge name, so several calibres share one holder and two cartridges with similar names may not. Check the RCBS number against your case before ordering rather than assuming.

Dies. The two-die full-length set is the sensible default for a stalking rifle — brass fired in one rifle and sized back to fit any chamber. Neck sizing keeps brass alive longer but ties it to a single rifle and is a false economy if you shoot more than one.

Case prep. Deburring and chamfering tools, primer pocket brushes and the Case Lube-2 sizing lubricant. Lube is not optional on full-length sizing; a stuck case is a wasted evening and sometimes a wasted die.

Powder handling. The Powder Trickler brings a thrown charge up to weight a granule at a time. Always work loads up from current published data for your components — charge weights are not transferable between powders, bullets or lots.
