The Real Steel Relict is a compact folding hunter's knife, built around a genuinely practical use: field-dressing and general work around the gun rather than everyday carry alone. Its S35VN blade runs to 83mm with a pronounced, tapering geometry, noticeably narrower towards the tip and finished with a very thin cutting edge, set on a titanium handle carrying carbon fibre onlays for a light, tactile grip. A frame lock secures the blade, opened via a flipper, and two features set it apart from a standard folder: cartridge extractors for 12- and 16-bore shells built into horn-like protrusions ahead of the handle, a design more familiar on traditional Eastern European hunting knives, and a hook-style lanyard attachment reminiscent of a paracord lock rather than the usual hidden hole. The main screws take a slotted screwdriver, so the knife strips down for cleaning without special tools. At 202mm overall and just 110g, it carries easily in a pocket or game bag, a purposeful companion for stalking and shooting days.
