Coverage. The Revolver Pro covers 360 degrees, which suits a single post in the middle of a clearing or a feed ride. A conventional fixed-lens camera needs siting with more care — think about where the animal will be, not where you would like the camera to sit.

A few practical points. Site cameras out of direct sun and off the eastern aspect or you will fill the card with false triggers on moving shadow. Fresh lithium cells outlast alkaline badly in cold weather. And if a camera covers ground the public can reach, a warning sign is sensible.
