Finnish propellants with a reputation built on consistency between lots — which is the difference between developing a load once and re-developing it every time you buy a new container.
The N-series runs roughly from fast to slow:
- N530 — faster burning, for smaller cases and lighter bullets
- N540 High Energy — mid-range, general purpose
- N555 — includes an anti-fouling additive, aimed at competitive shooters running long strings
- N560 — slow, for larger cases and heavier bullets
- N165 — slower still, for magnum cases with heavy projectiles
All in 1kg containers.
Propellant is a regulated explosive. The appropriate certificate or authority is required to acquire and keep it, with limits on quantity stored. Please contact the shop about supply.
Always work up from current published load data. Burn rates are not interchangeable between manufacturers even where numbers look similar.
