The Warthog V-Sharp Classic II in GunMetal is a spring-loaded, self-aligning V-shaped knife sharpener that takes the guesswork out of getting a consistent edge. Two 325-grit natural diamond rods sit under calibrated spring tension, gripping both sides of the blade as you draw the knife down through the V, so both edges are sharpened simultaneously at a matched angle rather than by hand and eye. Three quick-change angle settings — 20°, 25° and 30° — let you match the sharpener to the knife in hand, from a fine fillet blade to a heavier hunting knife. The frame is metal with a durable powder-coat finish in GunMetal, and it sits on a solid rubber base that keeps it planted on a worktop or bench while you work. A pair of finishing steels is included, for honing a keen, polished edge once the diamond rods have done the initial sharpening.
