Bisley's .22 blanks are the standard load for dummy launchers used in gundog retrieving and training, sending a training dummy out over distance so a dog can be worked on marked and blind retrieves. Supplied in a box of 100, the blanks are colour-coded by power: green gives the lightest load, for shorter throws with less noise and felt recoil; yellow steps up the power for a longer, harder throw; red is the strongest of the three, giving maximum range and the loudest report for dogs and handlers working further out. Choosing the right load depends on the launcher in use and how far you need the dummy to travel, so it's worth matching colour to the exercise rather than defaulting to the strongest option. These are for use in dedicated .22 dummy launchers only — they are not intended for blank-firing pistols or any other blank firer.
