Consistent seating depth is one of the most direct contributors to shot-to-shot velocity uniformity and, in turn, group size at distance — making a correctly profiled stem worth fitting when you change bullet lines. This stem is not compatible with seating dies from other manufacturers; it is a direct-fit accessory for Hornady Custom Grade dies only.
