The Hornady Cam-Lock Case Trimmer Pilot #15 is a precision guide insert sized for .358-calibre cases, covering rounds such as .35 Remington, .358 Winchester and .35 Whelen. It fits directly into the Hornady Cam-Lock Case Trimmer, where it slides into the case mouth and centres the brass on the cutter head, ensuring a perfectly square trim to a consistent length every time. Pilots are fully interchangeable in the Cam-Lock Trimmer, so reloaders who work across several calibres can swap inserts quickly without any additional tooling. Accurate case length is a fundamental step in reloading — trimming to the correct specification prevents excessive headspace, ensures reliable chambering and protects consistent neck tension. The Pilot #15 is the correct insert to use whenever you are preparing .358-bore brass on the Hornady Cam-Lock system. Sold individually.
