The Hornady Cam-Lock Trimmer Pilot #16 is a precision guide pilot sized for .375-calibre cases, designed for use with the Hornady Cam-Lock Case Trimmer. The pilot locates inside the case neck and centres the case mouth squarely on the trimmer's cutter head, ensuring each case is trimmed to a consistent, uniform length and avoiding the uneven mouths that cause problems with seating and crimping. Hornady trimmer pilots are fully interchangeable across the Cam-Lock Trimmer range, so reloaders working with multiple calibres can swap pilots quickly without tools. Pilot #16 covers .375-bore cartridges — including calibres such as .375 H&H Magnum and .375 Ruger — making it a useful addition for deer stalkers and dangerous-game hunters who reload their own brass. Sold individually, it is the straightforward way to extend your Cam-Lock Trimmer to a calibre not covered by the standard ten-pilot set supplied with the trimmer. Use Hornady's sizing charts to confirm the correct pilot number for your cartridge before ordering.
