Parker-Hale 009 Solvent in a 100 ml bottle is a well-established cleaning solution for shooters who prefer applying solvent with a brush, patch or jag rather than an aerosol. The formula cuts through the powder residues, lead fouling and gliding-metal jacket deposits that accumulate in rifle and shotgun barrels during a day's shooting. Left untreated, these deposits can trap moisture and accelerate rust, particularly in the tight tolerances of a rifled bore. 009 addresses both problems: it dissolves the fouling and leaves a protective residual film on the metal to inhibit corrosion between sessions.
