- Made by Napier, a trusted name in field-sports equipment and gun care
The Napier Apex Gambrel is a purpose-built deer-hanging tool designed to handle all UK species from roe to red. Once the beast is on the gambrel you have immediate, stable control: the carcass can be raised to a working height that suits you, bled effectively and kept clear of the ground throughout the gralloch. At approximately 31.5 cm in length, the Apex is a practical, compact tool that stows readily in a day-sack or game bag, so it is always to hand at the larder or in the field. A gambrel takes the struggle out of single-handed carcass handling and keeps the process clean and safe — making it as useful to the novice stalker as to the experienced keeper dealing with multiple deer in a session.
