The Zeiss Secacam 5 is a compact, LTE-enabled trail camera designed for serious wildlife surveillance and game management. Its 5 MP CMOS sensor — interpolated to 12 MP — captures high-contrast images day and night, powered by 60 invisible 940 nm black LEDs with a flash range of up to 30 m. The passive infrared detection range reaches up to 25 m, adjusting sensitivity to object size and temperature differential. The built-in LTE module with multi-network roaming SIM connects to the best available network, pushing images directly to your phone via the Zeiss Secacam App without the need for a separate SIM contract. GPS records the camera's location on activation, and all transfers use HTTPS for secure, encrypted data handling. At 320 g and 130 × 100 × 70 mm, it slots into tight spots on trees, fence posts or dense cover, and accepts up to a 32 GB SD/SDHC card alongside 8× AA (LR6) batteries. The 2.4" colour TFT-LCD display and USB-C port make on-site review and configuration straightforward. Operating temperature range of −20 °C to +55 °C keeps it reliable through a UK winter.
