The Zeiss Secacam 7 Wireless is a cellular trail camera built for serious wildlife surveillance and hunting reconnaissance. Its 5MP CMOS sensor — interpolated to 12MP — captures images at up to 1920 × 1440px resolution, day or night, courtesy of 60 black-LED infrared emitters operating at 940nm for a true no-glow flash with a range of approximately 30 metres. A 60° field of view and detection range of up to 25 metres cover typical woodland clearings and field edges effectively. What sets the Secacam 7 Wireless apart is its fixed lens design: the optic sits independently of the front flap, allowing you to frame the coverage area on the 2.4-inch TFT-LCD display before closing up and leaving the camera unattended. Images are transmitted automatically over LTE (4G) using a built-in multi-roaming SIM, with HTTPS transfer to the ZEISS Secacam App on your phone — no SD card retrieval required. GPS logs the camera's position when it is switched on. It runs on eight AA batteries, accepts SD/SDHC cards up to 32GB, and operates between −20°C and +55°C, making it a practical choice for year-round deployment in UK and European conditions.
