Napier Comfy Plugs are soft foam ear plugs that protect your hearing on the range and in the field, supplied here in a tub of 40 pairs. Made from closed-cell foam, they are designed to be comfortable enough to wear for a full day's shooting: roll each plug down, slot it into the ear and let it expand to seal against the noise of the shot. Across the range, woodland or grouse moor, repeated muzzle blast is one of the easiest ways to do lasting damage to your hearing, and a disposable plug you actually keep on you is far better protection than a pair left at home. Each pair offers a noise reduction of 37dB, enough to take the edge off centrefire and shotgun report while still letting you hold a conversation between drives. Every pair comes in its own small tube fitted with a key chain, so you can clip a set to your keys, cartridge bag or shooting coat and always have fresh plugs to hand.
