The HIKMICRO T16 is a 4G-connected smart trail camera built for long-term outdoor monitoring, and the first trail camera HIKMICRO have designed and developed themselves. Its standout feature is a dual field-of-view lens that switches between a 60° and an ultra-wide 100° view – the widest in its class – so one camera can cover a focused trail or a whole clearing.
Built on a native 6MP sensor, the T16 gives sharp images for instant viewing and lets you download UHD stills up to 24MP on demand, alongside 1080p video with audio. A 940nm no-glow infrared array captures discreet black-and-white footage after dark without spooking wildlife, while dual PIR sensors, a fast 0.4-second trigger and a 25-metre detection range work with smart algorithms that filter out wind and moving leaves to cut false triggers.
An embedded 4G multi-roaming SIM sends images and video straight to the HIKMICRO Sight app, and HIKZone adds map-based monitoring across multiple cameras. With 64GB of built-in storage there is no SD card to fail, and the IP66 weather-resistant housing is rated for year-round use. An optional solar panel is available for continuous power. This version runs on 4 x 18650 rechargeable cells.
