The Marttiini Condor Classic is a general-purpose fixed-blade knife from the Finnish maker Marttiini, built around the same blade as the well-known Marttiini Lynx knife. The blade measures 11cm, giving an overall length of 23cm, and is made from stainless steel with a traditional blood groove running along its length. The textured black rubber handle gives a secure grip in wet or cold conditions, and the knife comes complete with its own black leather sheath. For those who prefer a natural handle, Marttiini also offer the same blade fitted with a curly birch handle, sold as the Deluxe Classic. Marttiini has been producing knives in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland, since 1928, and the Condor Classic is one of its straightforward working patterns — a genuinely all-round knife suited to fieldcraft, camp tasks and general outdoor use rather than any one job in particular.
