This TekMat is a gun cleaning and maintenance mat printed for the 1911 pistol, giving a dedicated work surface for stripping, cleaning and reassembly. Measuring 11in x 17in and an eighth of an inch thick, it's large enough to lay out a fully disassembled 1911 along with brushes, patches and solvent without parts rolling off the edge. The design is dye-sublimation printed - heat-bonded into the fibres rather than silkscreened on top - so the 1911 parts diagram and short history printed on the surface stay sharp and won't scratch or fade with repeated cleaning sessions. A soft, oil- and water-resistant top layer keeps the pistol's finish free of scratches, while the vulcanised rubber backing grips the bench, resists solvents and oil, and stops chemicals soaking through to the work surface underneath. It's fully waterproof and wipes clean with soapy water. When you're finished, the mat rolls up for easy, compact storage alongside the rest of your cleaning kit.
