This TekMat is the plain grey version of TekMat's gun cleaning mat, carrying the TekMat logo and full-colour graphics rather than a model-specific parts diagram, making it a general-purpose cleaning mat for any handgun or set of tools. Measuring 11in x 17in and an eighth of an inch thick, it's a practical size for stripping and cleaning a pistol or laying out smaller gunsmithing jobs on the bench. As with the rest of the range, the graphics are dye-sublimation printed - heat-bonded into the fibres rather than silkscreened - so the surface stays sharp and won't scratch or fade with repeated use. A soft, oil- and water-resistant top layer protects whatever you're working on from scratches, while the vulcanised rubber backing grips the bench and stops oil, solvent and dirt soaking through to the surface underneath. It's fully waterproof and easy to wipe clean with soapy water. Once you're finished, it rolls up for compact storage alongside the rest of your cleaning kit.
