The TekMat Ultra 20 is a gun cleaning and maintenance mat sized for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield, part of TekMat's oversized Ultra range. At 15in x 20in and a quarter of an inch thick, it gives plenty of room to strip a Shield down fully with space left over for tools, brushes and solvent. The surface is dye-sublimation printed rather than silkscreened, so the artwork - a parts diagram and a short history of the M&P Shield - is bonded into the fibres and won't scratch or fade with repeated use. A soft, oil- and water-resistant top layer keeps the pistol's finish safe from scratches while you work, and the thick vulcanised rubber backing grips the bench and stops solvents, oil and grime soaking through to the surface underneath. A stitched edge, unique to the Ultra range, keeps the mat flat and stops it fraying or curling at the corners over time. Once you're done, it rolls up small for storage alongside the rest of your cleaning kit.
