The Hi-Tec Bandera Expedition Low Hiker in Charcoal/Black is the low-cut version of Hi-Tec's Bandera Expedition walking boot, built for anyone who wants the durability and waterproofing of a proper hiking boot without the weight and stiffness of a mid or high cut. A suede and mesh upper is backed by Hi-Tec's Dri-Tec waterproof, breathable membrane, keeping feet dry over wet ground and mud while letting the shoe breathe on the climb. A ghillie lacing system with rustproof hardware gives a snug, secure fit, and the padded collar and tongue stop rubbing on longer outings. Abrasion-resistant heel and toe caps protect against rock and root, a lightweight fork shank keeps the sole flexible while resisting twist, and a removable moulded EVA footbed sits on an impact-absorbing CMEVA midsole for cushioning that lasts the day. The M-D Traction outsole is cut to grip confidently on both the way up and the way down. A practical, low-profile choice for dog walking, fence-checking or day trips on rough Scottish ground where a full boot is more than you need.
