The Warne Maxima M902/902G is a two-piece steel scope base set designed to fit Savage bolt-action rifles equipped with the AccuTrigger and Winchester Model 88 and 100 lever-action receivers. Part of Warne's Maxima line, these bases are machined from steel and finished in gloss silver, following the Weaver-pattern design that has underpinned reliable scope mounting for decades. A full-width recoil slot in each base accepts the recoil control keys of Warne Maxima rings, maximising bearing surface and keeping zero under hard-recoiling loads. The low-profile design keeps the optic close to the bore for a natural cheek weld, while leaving the action cycling and safety unobstructed. Supplied with 6-48 Torx screws and installed using a T-15 wrench, the set requires no gunsmithing — loctite the screws to the recommended 25 in/lb torque and the job is done. Warne backs the Maxima line with a lifetime warranty, no receipt required. Made in the USA.
