A dial adjusts seating depth in increments of .001in across a total range of .05in, so once the depth is set you can squeeze the handle as hard as you like — a positive hard stop means the primer will never seat deeper than the depth you've dialled in. It works with both small and large primers, and comes with 12 shell holders covering the most popular cartridge cases, so it's ready to go across a range of calibres straight out of the box.
