These are Hornady CX component bullets for handloading, sized 25 calibre at .257" diameter and weighing 90gr, supplied as a box of 50 projectiles rather than loaded ammunition. CX stands for Copper alloy eXpanding, a one-piece monolithic bullet machined from copper alloy that cannot separate the way a bonded or cup-and-core bullet might, giving deep penetration and around 95% weight retention on game. The polymer Heat Shield tip resists aerodynamic heating to hold a consistently high ballistic coefficient through the full flight, while forming a uniform meplat for tighter bullet-to-bullet and lot-to-lot consistency. Optimised groove geometry along the shank trims bearing surface and fouling without sacrificing aerodynamic performance, helping both accuracy and barrel life. Being fully lead-free, the CX suits stalkers and hunters working ground that mandates non-toxic projectiles, and the 90gr weight in .25-calibre cartridges such as .25-06 Remington and .257 Roberts makes a versatile choice for medium-sized game. Reloaders pairing these with their own brass, primers and powder gain a tough, accurate monolithic hunting bullet. Box of 50 projectiles.
