A replacement meat-saw blade for the G-Man 21" bow saw, made by G-MAN Tools of Edsbyn, Sweden. This is G-MAN's G50 pattern, article number G5021, and at 530 mm (21") it is the one length the factory produces in its meat toothing, cut for meat and bone rather than timber. For deer managers it earns its keep in the larder: a bow saw wearing a meat blade is still the simplest way to split the sternum and pelvis and break a carcass down into manageable joints, and a fresh blade makes that work quicker and cleaner than pressing on with a dull one. Blades are straightforward to swap on the bow-saw frame, so it is worth keeping a spare hanging beside the gambrel and hooks. The G-Man bow saw itself is supplied with one wood blade and one meat blade; this listing is the meat blade on its own, and the matching 21" wood blade is sold separately for firewood and lane-clearing duties.
