The stalking accessories - the kit that comes into its own once the deer is down. Rifles, optics and clothing are elsewhere on the site; this is everything in between.
Extraction and larder. Garlands recycled carcass trays sized for roe, fallow and larger, drag gear, and field dressing tools including the Butt Out. A tray in the back of the vehicle is the difference between a clean load space and an afternoon with a hose.
Trophy work. Solid oak skull shields for roe, red, sika and fallow, metal mounting plates, and Ballistol bleaching powder. Boil and clean before you bleach, and use peroxide-based powder rather than household bleach - bleach softens the bone and the skull will chalk and crumble in a few years.
Ticks. BushWear NO Tick wash-in repellent treats clothing rather than skin, which is the right way round for anyone on the hill regularly. Treat trousers and socks, not just the jacket - ticks come from below.
