The Pulsar Thermion 2 XQ50 Pro is a thermal imaging riflescope built for hunters and deer stalkers who need to find and identify quarry in total darkness, fog, rain or low daylight contrast. It runs a sensitive 384x288, 17µm uncooled sensor with a sensor NETD below 25mK and a 50Hz refresh rate, paired with a fast 50mm F/1.0 germanium objective for a detection range of up to 1800m on a deer-sized target. Base magnification is 3-12x, viewed through a high-contrast AMOLED display, with a frost-free image that stays clear even when objects are moving. The magnesium alloy body keeps the familiar lines of a daytime scope and mounts on standard 30mm rings, so it sits naturally on a stalking rifle. It is recoil rated to 6000 joules for use on high-calibre rifles, smooth-bores and air weapons, and is IPX7 waterproof for foul-weather use. Power comes from the combined APS battery system, with a hot-swappable external pack alongside the internal cell for up to ten hours in the field. Please note this riflescope is supplied without mounting rings.
