The Rix Storm S6R is a thermal imaging riflescope with a built-in laser rangefinder, built for deer stalking, vermin control and night shooting. At its core is a 640×512 sensor with a 12μm pixel pitch and NETD below 20mK, paired with a 35mm objective lens, 2x base optical magnification and 1-4x digital zoom, all shown on a sharp 1024×768 OLED display. The integrated rangefinder measures out to 1,312 yards (1,200m) with ±1 metre accuracy and comes with a free ballistic calculator, so you can range and hold over in one motion. Weighing around 1lb, the S6R doubles as a handheld scanner as easily as a rifle-mounted scope, and ships with a free QD Picatinny mount for quick changeover between the two. It's rated to withstand 1000g/6000J of recoil, roughly equivalent to a .300 Win Mag, so it stands up to full-power stalking rifles, and its IP67 housing shrugs off rain and rough handling. Onboard Wi-Fi links to the RIX+ app for live streaming and wireless updates, while 32GB of built-in memory stores photo and video with sound. A four-directional button layout keeps every control identifiable by feel, even with gloves on.
