- Shields — BushWear solid oak shields for roe in medium, and larger shields for red stag. Solid oak rather than veneer, so they take a finish properly and do not lift.
- Mounting plates — Decoy metal fixings for roe bucks and red deer, which hold the skull cleanly off the shield.
- Preparation — Ballistol trophy bleaching powder in 250g, for whitening a skull after cleaning.
A note on bleaching: use a purpose-made powder rather than household bleach, which attacks the bone itself and leaves a trophy that crumbles at the edges in a few years. Keep it off the antler.
