A traditional thumb stick from Bisley, cut from chestnut harvested in sustainable forests and finished with a smooth, stripped-and-lacquered coat. The head is shaped with a deep V-thumb rest, letting you plant the stick and rest your thumb and fingers comfortably in the crook while you glass a hillside, wait at a stand, or steady yourself on rough ground. Because it is made from a natural round of timber rather than a machined blank, each stick carries its own character, with visible knots left in the wood and a slightly individual grain and shape from one stick to the next. It is a genuinely useful companion for a day on the hill or in the woods, equally at home supporting a long walk as it is standing in for an improvised rest when you are watching for movement. Supplied by BushWear, this is a simple, well-made piece of traditional country kit rather than a technical accessory, built to be used hard and to last.
