Shipping policy

Delivery in the UK

We deliver to addresses across the UK, including Northern Ireland, which is treated the same as the rest of the UK. A few licensed items are collection only (see below).

  • Free standard delivery on UK orders over £50.
  • Orders under £50: standard delivery is £5.95, and some small items can be sent for £3.50. The exact charge for your basket is shown at checkout before you pay.
  • One delivery charge per order, even if your items arrive in more than one parcel. If you're ever charged twice, contact us and we'll refund the extra.

Next day delivery

UK orders go out on a next day service. Order by 2pm on a working day and in-stock items are dispatched that day and usually arrive the next working day. If everything in your basket qualifies, next day delivery is shown at checkout.

We don't offer Saturday delivery as a checkout option, and an order can't be upgraded to Saturday delivery after it's placed. Royal Mail parcels may still arrive on a Saturday as part of Royal Mail's normal service.

Dispatch dates

Every product page shows a dispatch time for each size, and your basket shows the expected dates. Where we bring an item or size in from our supplier, that time is already included.

Orders with more than one item ship together on the date of the slowest item. If you'd like the quicker items sent first, ask us and we'll split the order at no extra cost. If a date changes, we'll email you the new one automatically.

Carriers and tracking

UK orders go by Royal Mail or DPD, depending on the size of the parcel and the service chosen. Large items go by Parcelforce. When your order is dispatched we'll email you a tracking number.

Collect in store

You can choose free collection from our Stirling or Perth shop at checkout. Orders are usually ready within 24 hours, and we'll tell you when yours is ready.

  • Opening hours (both shops): Monday and Wednesday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm. Closed Tuesday and Sunday.

Items with special delivery rules

  • Age-restricted items such as knives and saws can only be sold to people aged 18 or over. We verify your age before dispatch, and the whole order then goes by an age-verified delivery service, so someone aged 18 or over must receive it and may be asked for ID. To avoid holding up the rest of your order, buy the age-restricted item on a separate order.
  • Firearms, shotguns and ammunition can't be sent to a private address. They must be collected in person from our Stirling or Perth shop, and you'll need to show your certificate.
  • Shooting powders are store collection only. Bring your certificate when you collect.
  • Gun cabinets are delivered to the kerbside at your address. We don't install them, so please have help ready to move yours indoors.

International delivery

We deliver clothing and footwear only outside the UK, to almost every country, including the EU, Norway, Switzerland, the USA, Canada and Australia. Everything else (optics, knives, accessories, ammunition and components, firearms and dangerous goods) is UK delivery only. If checkout says an item can't be sent to your address, remove it and the rest of your order will go through.

  • Service: Royal Mail International Tracked, usually 5 to 7 working days after dispatch.
  • Postage: charged at cost and shown at checkout in pounds sterling.
  • Duties and taxes: every international order is sent duties and taxes paid. The price at checkout is all you pay, with nothing more to pay on delivery.
